As a system integrator, the Schmid Mawera Group goes beyond individual heat generators. The company combines industrial heat pumps and efficiency-enhancing components with proven biomass boilers to create hybrid energy solutions. This combination allows operating strategies to be flexibly tailored to seasons and load profiles. While heat pumps can ensure heat generation in the summer using ambient or waste heat with virtually no biomass consumption, biomass covers the required energy demand in the winter in a cost-optimized, regionally sourced, and CO₂-neutral manner.
